Monday
Today was a P.A. day.
Tuesday
Today I got to class with 10 minutes left because I was stuck in Student Services trying to figure out which class I was in for peer helping. I then observed Mr. D. for the remainder of the class.
Wednesday
Today I observed Mr. D. and helped to locate certain programs on the computer. I then fooled around with motion for a little bit.
Thursday
Today Mr D. introduced me to a new program called "blender". It allows to create and animate 3D objects. It was quite easy to use.
Friday
Today I created my new blog called "Peer Helping" and filled in the journal for week 1.

Monday
Today Mr. D. showed me a project that one of his students in grade 12 had created. He asked me to convert it to eBook format so I looked all over the web but was unsuccessful.
Tuesday
Today I continued my trek to convert the indd file into eBook and discovered that the epub format was the proper thing to choose. On the other hand I also discovered that we need a different program to view the epub files and was denied access to install it.
Wednesday
Today I started to make a flash animation of a splash page effect to make the logos pop up. I ran into some difficulties with one of the layers and was unable to solve it today.
Thursday
Today I continued to try and solve the issue but was still unable. I took a break and started to make a new flash animation of just a random stick fighting scene.
Friday
Today I continued to work on my animation and it was looking sick; until flash crashed and nothing saved.

Today I went back to solving the issue I had on Thursday and fixed it. I just had to import the "problem layer" separately Then
Mr. D. told me to forget the splash thing and take a look at a new program called "color". It is a color correction program and

Today I started to use color to edit the remembrance day video for the school. It has may options such as lighten and sharpen.
You can add color filters and other things too. The only thing left to fix is the motion blur.

Today I learned something new about color and the project I am doing. First, learned Mr. D. wants only certain parts color
corrected, and second, I learned how to split the video clips to alter them individually.

Today I continued to work on the remembrance day video. I finished the actual video but I have yet to fix the trailer. Mr. D.
says he wants me to also fix the intro because the current one sucks.

Once again, I continued working on the remembrance day trailer. Mr. D. says the president (or chairman I'm not sure) of the
war museum wants the trailer done soon, so I'm aiming at finishing it by the end of the day on Monday.

Once again, I continued working on the remembrance day trailer. I found out that it's actually not due today so that makes me happy.

Once again, I continued working on the remembrance day trailer. Mr. D. is very pleased and I finished the intro. Now all I have to do is finish the credits.

Once again, I continued working on the remembrance day trailer. Bad News: Mr. D. changed his mind about the intro so I have to make a new one. Good News: I finished the new one.

Once again, I continued working on the remembrance day trailer. Also, Mr. D. want me to make some changes to the new intro...again...I finished them and am working on putting the trailer together. I think Mr. D. wants me to put some new music on that one of his students made. I think the one song would be perfect for a remembrance day theme.

Once again, I continued working on the remembrance day trailer. Nothing special. But tomorrow I will be teaching the class a lesson on a basic tutorial.

Today I taught a lesson. It took like 20 minutes, and was quite easy. Afterwards I finished the trailer and helped a student; kind of. More like tried to help and failed.

Today I looked at a new tutorial Mr. D. told Zack (another student of his) and I to look at. It has something to do with tracing in motion.

Today Mr. D. ask me and the other students to create a poster for Remembrance Day. He gave us about 15 pictures to choose from. The resolution is 28" x 8 3/4" (I think).
Wednesday
Today Mr. D. told us to lower the resolution of the poster because it was too high and took way to long to do anything because it had to load all the pixels. Mr. D. and I thought of a good layout but when I had done the first few things I had turned quick mask on which messed everything else up I tried to do; I finally figured out what was wrong.

I'm back from my extra long and sick weekend and I am continuing the poster. Apparently, the poster I had started on Wednesday did not saved so I have to restart for the second time.

No, it's not done. Today I had to exchange a scene in the video with a better quality version, and ensure the timing was impeccable.

Monday
Today, we had a supply teacher who told the class what Mr. D. had assigned to them. Since I didn't have anything else to do, I decided to do what they were doing because it was labeled "grade 10/11" so I am going to assume that next semester when I take comm. tech. I will have to do this very same assignment.

Wednesday
Today, Mr. D. told me to look for commercials that promote technology in high school. Most of the videos that came up were garbage, but I did manage to find 2 pretty good ones, and one bad (but not too bad) video for a what not to do example.
Thursday
Today, Mr. D. told me to learn how to use chromakey; a.k.a. use a green screen and edit out the background. It is really easy, and took about 2 minutes to learn how. I loved doing it and then making the background different.

Today I fooled around with the green screen some more just for fun. Kevin made a version of the green screen titled "BetterThanChad'sGreenScreenTest" so I had to out do him with an amazing green screen. I then did a quick motion 4 tutorial for text.
